| High-tech and absolute reliability for extreme airport conditions
Whether it's 0° F (-20°C) in winter or up to 150° F (+70°C) in the hottest desert sun, rain or snow, day or night, aircraft have to be handled, refueled, loaded, deiced, pushed back from the gates or maintained. CeoTronics products are designed and constructed in accordance with these requirements.
CT-GroundCom
HeavyDuty CT-GroundCom headsets from CeoTronics are connected by cable to the aircraft intercom system and guarantee crystal-clear communication with the cockpit.
CT-DECT GateCom systems – forward-looking ramp-handling and push-back communication
CT-DECT GateCom systems from CeoTronics for wireless digital full-duplex communication during aircraft handling and push-back/ground handling are regarded as revolutionary.
Noise protection and safety color
CeoTronics headset shells provide excellent noise protection. When worn with ear plugs they protect the ears against irreparable noise damage and, even in a loud environment, communication is crystal clear. Pliable and durable ear cushions and headband cushions guarantee a high degree of comfort. The safety orange color offers greater safety (other colors, for headset shells and company logos are available, upon request).
Microphones
CeoTronics uses high quality noise-canceling electret microphones which provide clear transmission, even under running engines. The boom is specially designed for near field response microphones. Dynamic and splash-proof microphones are also available.
Cables
All cables are produced to CeoTronics ´ unsurpassed quality standards with regard to breakage and RF distortions. They are resistant against ordinary chemicals like fuel, oil incl. “Skydrol” grease, and detergent and also human sweat. Our test procedures simulate the strain of the cable in daily use. During testing, the cables are powered under tension of 500 g/1.1 lb and perform 25 bends per minute in an angle of +/- 90°. Coiled cables of our CT-GroundCom Headsets are stretched to the maximum of their standard length, as well, during testing. We guarantee 60,000 stretches without cable breakage and that the cable will always retain its original position and shape.
ASR – Ambient Sound Reception
The Ambient Sound Reception (ASR) feature, in CeoTronics HeavyDuty Headsets, provides the user with the ability to adjust ambient sound to a comfortable level and experience full hearing protection is afforded to sound levels of approximately 110 dB(A). The ASR system controls harmful noise levels, over 85 dB(A), by attenuating the noise to safe levels, at the internal speaker. For safety reasons we highly recommend the ASR option for CT-HeavyDuty Headsets. |
